Guys... I go off to measure some cylinders and I'm thinking we need to meet in Corpus Christy and fight! Who is for it? Meet at 2 Dogs house for beer and then off to the desert to settle it! Those who aren't busy fighting might be able to get in some hog hunting if we are lucky! Dawgs?

Lots of stuff I guess. Great photo! I killed a 5 foot eastern diamondback a few months back in the Ocala Forest here in Florida. He was crossing a dirt road. I thought it was just a limb. I had my Browning Hi Power and it took nine shots before I knew he was dead. And I was shooting Sundles 147 gr. HP's. I called Whit out on what I thought was a poor shot on a moose when I first joined the forum and got reamed for my post from those that know him personally. After LISTENING and reflecting on my arrogant remarks I sent Whit a PM with an apology which he graciously accepted. Don't we as sportsmen and gun owners have enough of a fight on our hands without fighting with each other? Of course this is just my opinion.

I know. For those who are against killing an animal, but still like sixgun start a new thread about why you don't like it, but like your guns.

Well just about everyone has been insulted by now. Certainly all hunters are "disrespected" by one poster, even though he said earlier that wasnt the case. Most hunters hunt for the sport and love the meat as well, but its mostly for the sport itself. Nothing wrong with that at all. It aint for everybody. If you dont like it dont do it. I dont care for tiddlywinks either, but I dont go on the tiddlywinks forum and "disrespect" them for it.

Pretty tall soap box there "dude" Did you humm the star spangled banner while writing it? By the way just WHO has stepped on a post here? I can look at several of your past posts and see several hijacked threads by YOU. My reason for commenting was to let the guy making a comment about unnecessary killing speak his mind without being harrassed by a group of camo jocks. I too sent a PM to agrizz but suspiciously never heard back. Again, soap box antics. Some people like to aire their dirty PANTIES I did answer your PM and you sir are a two faced skum bag. I was not going to post this however I will at this time. From Rightwiner: Hey, just discovered this send a message thing. Just to let you know. You sound like you think you're some sort of a big shot? Making suggestions that people who dont share your beliefs should move on to another web site. Where did you get this attitude? Just because you are in a group of guys that seem to think you own the site, YOU dont. And throwing in the time served in Viet Nam? Real genious on your part. The only thing that makes sense is your dislike for snakes after being in that hell hole. EASE OFF DUDE Agrizz reply: Good to see you have found the way around the site a little. Some sort of a big shot not at all or in any way. I could care less if you or anyone else shares my beliefs and if your buddy wants to step on another person’s post with his remarks that is not acceptable to me or anyone else on any web site. If you and he wish to contribute constructively then that is fine otherwise leave. As for the group of guys on the web site you are sadly mistaken you are correct about the web site not belonging to me it belongs to everyone that is posting. Not just you or your friend either. As for the time in Vietnam that is due to the fact that you nor your buddy have ever set foot there. He was the one that tried to invoke the USMC and the date he was supposedly there. I let him know that as far as he was concerned he had a lot more to do than that. I have absolutely no dislike for snakes in any way. When I see a venomous snake I kill them. Ease off no! Your friend owes the original poster an apology for crapping all over his post.

Well... After reading all this stuff I guess I'll stick my head in the oven too.. Here in the south we grow rattlesnakes big enough to bog down a bush hog behind a 50HP John Deer. There are parts of the state where you'd better be wearing snake bite proof gear when you go there. All that in mind... ALL Venomous snakes where children frequent will die at my hand when I see them and although I hear they are good eating, I haven't eaten one yet. Tastes like chicken. ;D Actually, to me they taste like a cross between frog legs and chicken, but a little tougher...of course, that toughness might be because the one I ate grew up outside Sweetwater, Texas!

When I ate some at a Rattlesnake Roundup at Wawrika Oklahoma I thought it tasted just like frog legs. A buddy I rode there with told me places like that are the worst to eat it, he said the best meat is like backstraps on a deer, and the people running it save those cuts for themselves. And BTW I went with my SP101 because I thought we would be able to hunt them.

Sixgunnn hope you are still there as well. Want to apologise for hijacking your thread and hope you still post a lot of new things over the next few years. Certainly like the snake and especially your Ruger.
Want to apologise to the rest of the members that had to put up with this over the past couple of days as well.

No need to apologize in my mind, stuff happens. No one had to read it unless they wanted to.
