Modified the Thread name so that all 45 bore revolvers will work. I'm glad, now I can include my lil' .454 Mag Seville. It's one-of-five IHMSA marked .454 Sevilles. I made a pair of better looking grips a couple years ago...

Here's the last one. It was in Gordon's shop having a front sight transplant. Lipsey's flat top convertible. It's now doing temporary night stand duty with .45 ACP hardball. It's crying out for a Bisley style Hammer. Might settle for a SBH hammer - still thinking. I'm thinking this will remain a dedicated .45 ACP gun, although the cylinder might get modified to handle Auto Rims, too. The .45 Colt cyl. will probably remain in reserve for the future. I plan to test it with .45 Schofields though, when I get some brass ... just because.

Dang Ken... A 45 in the night stand? You guys must have a few devils hanging out in North Carolina. As a life long sleepwalker my 45 sits across the room..

Lousy picture but this Brassy Old Army is one of my favorites. Wearing its conversion cylinder for .45Colt. Planning to get one in .45acp for no particular reason.

Another not so great picture of a great sixgun. I haven't shot this much and haven't had it a long time but boy does she impress me. Wearing a .45acp cylinder, but has an unfluted .45 Colt cylinder bored from a .44mag by John Gallagher, steel gripframe and ejector rod housing. Grips from Cary Chapman. Not a custom, but a real nice gun.

I've posted enough pics of my poor mans customs that y'all know 'em by heart anyway.... But, this thread has so many cool grips, beautiful case colors... It could drive a man to drink! Awesome pics, fellas. Purty iron all around. Keep 'em coming.

Here's my two .45 Colt sixguns I just got em back from the Gun Smiths the other day. Top one is a Clements full custom oversize six shot cylinder custom barrel case hardened frame Bowen rear sight 3 gold bar front sight. Bottom one is a John Linebaugh tuned gun it started out as a 5.5 inch Black Hawk John fitted a Bisley grip hammer and trigger and cut the barrel to 4.75 inches and a bowen rear sight. Haven't got to shoot em much yet but I'm workin on that Kansas firearms deer season opened today I'm gona try to kill a deer with that Clements gun.

Nothing fancy, but I really like this Uberti Cattleman (especially the blued screws and basepin against nickel). Shoots dead on at 50 yards....which is rare for fixed sights. -Lee www.singleactions.com
