I forgot this one since it is down at Hartons getting a bisley hammer installed. It started life as a 44 Special but it wouldn't shoot up to 2 Dogs standards so off to Alan it went and it grew into a dual cylinder 45 with new barrel, sight etc. Later it had horn grips installed by Scott Kolar. It came here in a swap with Mike Barranti that saw one of the flat top 44 7 1/2" guns headed to PA.

I just have these 45's - This Colt 1878 - Lots of history in this one. It's been in the family since new - carried in Wyoming, Cuba, Phillipines, Mexico, and France by my Gr-Gr-Gr Uncle in the service of Uncle Sam. This EMF Bisley for cowboy fun - And this mild custom Ruger - about as perfect a packin' pistol for me as I can imagine.

Here's a '76 "Liberty" .45 Convertible that Hamilton Bowen turned into an all steel version with a SBH gripframe many years ago. Bocote grips by Lett: And a bright stainless one with stag by Lett. Gordon Logan front sight and some tuning and jeweling: Gordon Logan gussied this one up a bit with a front sight, some jeweling, polishing and bead blasting. One of my favorites: FA 97 Convertible: Plain ol' .454: Another .454 with Gordon Logan base and miles and miles of Africa wear on it: Another favorite in .454:
