Will turn 56 in a couple weeks. I am mainly a small game hunter, squirrels , coyotes and such, shot my first squirrel at around age 9 or 10 with my moms stub-nose .22 DA revolver and that kind of stuck with me. Also into traditional flintlock muzzleloaders and that whole lifestyle.

Will be 57 in May. what a wonderful source of history and information,Thank you ! Happy birthday! So it seems obvious but I will say it anyway. Ya gotta get a model 57 for your 57th birthday. Not. Better reason to be found... even if you already have one.

I’ll be 43 in October.
Grew up shooting Dad’s S&W Model 66. Had a bad marriage for a few years and didn’t keep guns because my ex didn’t like them in the house. After my divorce I started buying guns again. Thought I wanted autoloaders but eventually came back to revolvers. Bought my first single action around 2010 and got hooked. Dad never owned any because he is a Smith guy, so he picked at me a little bit when I started. Then top it off with i couldn’t shoot them well at first, i got pretty frustrated. Started reading here and practicing. My shooting improved. Still can’t shoot, but I am a LOT better than i was.
Oh. Still have autoloaders for self defense but i also switch out with revolvers for carry as well. I prefer revolvers.
