Here's another shot of my 44s in the wild, this time on another rugged country hog hunt. Of course the NM Ruger Flattop is a 44 SPL. BTW, the Trapper 44 is the ultimate for such use in my neck of the woods. It is a true joy to carry.

That's a heavy cover huntin' duo if I ever saw one. Very nice.

Well, we were kinda distracted saving the 44 spec..from the 44mag . LOL. Brass in my tumbler right now, 44mag, for the new to me and unfired by me, Hunter 44mag.. The Scope from BBD. Haven't played with H110 for some years, but this rig begs for it. Been running 300 grn Cast Performance GCs over 21.5 grns of H110 for years out of my 7.5" SBH. Accurate as hell and and will take of pretty much anything I wan tot tangle with.

I am a tried-and-true single action nut. However, you guys are killing me with these stunning photos of the Smith & Wesson's. That mountain revolver and the 5-inch classic call to me.

I have been blessed to own a few of the 44s. Some are custom and some are factory gun. I just never bought the hype of the 41mag or the 45 Colt. I do own a few of those, but obviously my favorite in any 44.

12 years selling bullets & the Lyman 429421 led the sheet. Nothing else even came close. Been a few years now but the 44 is probably still alive & well.
