Wow, I am still getting a bunch of PMs, if I missed yours I apologize. PM me again if you got lost in the shuffle.
I would say there are some 10 serious takers so far on this. And quite possibly several more....

I've considered one of these, but about decided the 32 Magnum would be best for me. A 4.2" adjustable sight Stainless base gun lays in wait. I've got plenty of 30,000 psi data, so gets pretty close. Very cool project and hope to see it finished. As much as I love the 327, I was thinking along the same lines with the 32 H&R mag in a little Bearcat Shopkeeper.

If I remember right did the Harton version eliminate the erh ? Using the base pin to push out the empties. Any idea how Dave will approach the ejection of empties?

On the Idea of 32 mag an 327 why not 2 cylinders cut? I know its a bit more $...I like most of you shoot 32 mag an ferminator loads!!! but shooting 32 s&w Longs is fun with the grandkids an newbies. My thoughts

I believe there were versions with and without the ERH. The version I've wanted is the one without th ERH and short little 3" barrel.
I'm liking the 2 cylinder idea!

How long would the cylinder be? Guys, the Bearcat frame, even with the window opened as much as possible and still be safe is only going to allow so much nose to crimp length. Long heavy for caliber bullets will probably not fit unless deep seated and then some consideration must be given to the pressures generated by the load for the health of the platform. Factory ammo is going to fit and the Clements Bearcat will manage the same level of pressure, which if you ask me is plenty of power.

Its interesting to read. I've read so many complaints about the Single Seven's "Short" cylinder for years.

Other than the cost of having the frame opened up is there any real reason not to go ahead and get the .327 conversion?
And...why in the world would you really need an auxiliary cylinder in .32 magnum?

And...why in the world would you really need an auxiliary cylinder in .32 magnum? No, to both questions. You could down load the 327, Heck, even Dick's loads might make it out the end of the Bearcat barrel, and/or load the 32 H&R long if you so chose.

JT commented some where a long the line that 32 S&W longs shot better out of the 32 mag vs 327 cylinder was why 2...and I know that you can shoot both out of the 327 cylinder...But I would still ask for 2 cylinders. If no is the answer than I will opt for a 32 mag only fwiw
