I can see the 327 Federal as a great one. Especially for the none handloader. (Man, that's harsh to believe)
But, for the experienced handloader with a cannelure tool, the 32 Mag is my pick.

I prefer the .32 Mag on the small frames, but most of what I shoot are .22LR level loads anyway.

I'm excited to read about this...I've been lusting after a 32 H&R in a 3" Bearcat for some time now after seeing posts of a Harton beauty!

Just got another message from a 3rd player.
My best suggestion is to secure your slot BEFORE he sees what is the demand and raises the fee. PM me for the numbers.

I have always wanted a bearcat in a larger caliber and this seems like a good time, other than I'm buying my new house and property I mentioned in the Lounge and money will be tight for a few months because the place needs a bit of work. The place is however crawling with rattlers which don't bother me much but I don't need the vet bills. A 3" bearcat in .32 with some snake loads would fit great in a Carhartt or pant pocket. Speer doesn't make shot capsules for .32 but I'm sure I could make some with gas checks or something. I think I would prefer one in .32 H&R in this platform but a .327 would give me more room in the case for shot. The timing couldn't be worse for me right now with the house so I'll need to do some thinking. To those of you who are all in, I can't wait to see what options you end up with.

I've wanted one (actually two, one .327 and identical .22) since reading about it on gunblast some time ago and spent all afternoon thinking about; but... like Mark... the timing could be better. Have had some MAJOR healthcare costs and capital expenditures in last year.

Have had some MAJOR healthcare costs and capital expenditures in last year. Yes, I fully understand because my friend Harvey washed ashore and stomped me just hard enough that I am having to sell some of my Harton customs to get back to where I was before that stupid Hurricane. Still, like anything else, it's just a test brother, keep moving forward. A good man simply cannot be kept down. There is always a way!

Ok, If you email Clements (bigbore51@yahoo.com) and don't get a response, he is closed until after Christmas. I am doing my best to run some interference for him and have responded to a pretty good number of PMs. If you did not get an answer from me, or I missed you in the flood, just PM me again. You should have gotten my contact information mostly because I'm curious to see how many takers we end up with here.
At the outset of this, when we discussed this with Dave, we told him this would be a very popular conversion. Judging from A) the volume of private messages and B) all the holsters Mike has already made for Bearcats, Dave's version which will have some excellent options and some improved design/strength features might take off like a rocket ship. So, I would kinda like to keep count if you guys don't mind. NO, I will not receive any special compensation if say I sell 10 or 100 or whatever. I have known Dave for many years, he has done 4 very fine sixguns for me, I periodically do some work for him and I just think he is a great guy and am happy to help him. On top of that, the more we can run interference so to speak for him the sooner you guys will get your sixguns out of his shop. Remember, Harton is NOT taking this work. Another guy just told my JRH is stepping back.

My thoughts on a 32 Magnum is bullet selection. The 32 Magnum case would accept a much longer/heavier bullet that would be much more useful up close and personal.
Obviously you could use the same loads in the 327 Fed chamber. But, I prefer the bullet support that the proper chamber supports.
That's what customs are all about...
