Thanks Jason... Being a Louisiana native, I follow Lipsey's closely. Outside of costing me many dollars, I have always gotten a kick out of what was next.
Appreciate any company that follows and answers the wants of their customers.

Welcome Jason!
Folks really need to realize what type of company Lipseys and Ruger really are and what it is they strive to accomplish. Jason is truly a revolutionary in the industry and we are fortunate to have him on our side. Ruger and Lipseys are listening. The old ways are just that...old. I can tell you that Jason not only gets it but he has the ear of Ruger.
And to top it off, he is a hell of a good guy to just have some Henry McKenna with.
Thank you Jason. You (and this new revolver) were one of the highlights of my New Mexico trip.

With the recessed chambers and locking cylinder pin it looks a lot like a BFR. If it is a Super blackhawk .480 I'd order one as soon as it is available. Either way I'm interested.

I'm not at liberty to comment. Maybe Whitworth already has one.

It won't be long guys. We will make the official announcement end of next week. I know this is my first post here but I have been checking in from time to time since many of my fellow Shootists frequent this forum. I can honestly say this is the BEST forum out there. A wealth of information by guys who actually shoot their guns and not just sitting around theorizing behind a keyboard. Lee you have done a wonderful job with this site. I don't have a lot of time to go to the various forums often but I think when I do this will be where I spend my time. I'm really excited about this project and for those who have seen a sneak peek and kept it to yourselves I really appreciate it. Jason So much for the embargo, huh Jason?

Recessed case rims on a .44 or .45 wouldn't reach so close to the outside edge of the cylinder.

Perhaps Ruger decided to do a 6-shot 480 on the large Bisley frame. A 5-shot should have thicker cylinder walls, shouldn't it?

I guess my dream of a alloy frame and titanium cylinder Ruger single action or gp100 will go unfulfilled.
