The only one that I currently have...Linebaugh Custom 500L I have another 500L project sitting in John Gallagher's shop that will be a near copy of Axe's Gallagher 500L - I am sure he will post up a pic soon.

If I had to guess, I'd say less than 10% of the total number of .50s owned by members of this forum are diplayed above. If you're trying to avoid temptation, leave the forum now and never retrun. Otherwise, welcome to the Single Actions Forum and start warming up your credit cards! ;D Beautiful guns men! LOL I second/third that! These fifty threads get me all worked up. Here's one in the works with JG... 5.5inches of .510 Gallagher Octagon It should be born this summer sometime. In the meantime I get my jollys by looking at these threads and posting this pic Ya... I'm a little excited.

Here are my .50's A Bowen built .50 GI (Thanks Mark!) A Linebaugh built .500 Linebaugh (Thanks Kelye!) And finally, some of the bits and pieces of an in progress .500 Linebaugh Max - although it will wear a Smith and Wesson barrel instead of the octagon barrel shown (Thanks Hamilton!) Tim

My first custom was a .50AE Bisley, I guess it was a case of all I really wanted, before I knew what I wanted. "I don't need it to do that, just this." And once I had it I tried to make it do "that", which it wouldn't. I talked myself out a Linebaugh (even though I really wanted one) trying to be "smart" and logical. In the long run it just cost me lots of extra money. My second try was a little better.

This is the only one that I have that is completed. It is a 500L by Mr. Bowen with white tooth by Paul Persinger. Dustin is several years into a 500L build on a bisley vaquero with an octagon Damascus barrel but who knows when it will be done.

A JRH and a WE. A rifle/revolver combo in half inch sure is sexy sir.

These threads usualy make me feel sad and poor, because i don't have a 50. Then i remembered, I DO! It's the bottom(far right) gun in this pic. I've only shot it a few times, but it is a blast and it get's a lot of looks at the range!

So... looking back through all the pictures, I don't see any dragoon style flat back trigger guards... so is mine going to bloody my knuckles now that I switched grips Got a Contender I use for hunting in 45 Colt... HOT loads will give me bloody knuckles within 10 shots... fortunately I don't shoot 10 shots through my single shot while hunting... but it does make initial sighting in, painful... I haven't shot mine with the new grips yet... but think I'm seeing more bloody knuckles in my future
