From yesterday... 40 Grain Nosler bullet, 10 grains of H110. Brass sizing after fire forming Hornet brass has been more complicated than I thought it should be. Using Sellier & Bellot brass and hoping it is the primary driver. Problem I'm seeing you'd never see in a TC Contender or a rifle. Put them unprimed in the cylinder and the cylinder would not turn free. Ended up checking every case I before I primed and loaded them and about 10% of the cases were bad. I'll shoot the ones that chamber right and pick up some Remington or Federal cases to try next. Thinking I need a K Hornet barrel for my Contender...

Have family in Tampa , Charleston SC and Richmond. Sis in Charleston likely the most at risk. If/when the hurricane turns north the Tampa family will give a sigh of relief. They won't get to enjoy it though. Got woke up a couple hours ago by a call, Mom fell again and broke something and Hospice and EMS there now.

Bula, I’m praying for your family down in the storms path and for your mom! Understand how the distance makes things even more challenging than being on site and dealing with things face to face.

Thank You. Technically, my Mom-n-law. My parents gone for a while. Wife's parents have from day one treated me like a son and Mom is Mom. The call came early this am and the wife left for work in tears. She is due home soon. Hope to get her to take a nap. She has diabetes and heart issues herself and a constant worry for me.

Headed back to the NW from Albuquerque this morning. What a blessing to get to have all the kids, their spouses, the only grandchild and my mom together for a few days to celebrate our 40th.

From the rugerforum, does BogusBill have a presence here ? I visit over there but quit trying to rejoin. He mentions a number of his family just moving to Mt Pleasant SC. Where my Sis and niece are. A small town NE of Charleston. A couple of bridges to cross to get there. The bridges will be closed when a certain wind speed is reached. Evac notice already given.

Playing at the range this morning. 10.0 grains of H110 and a Nosler 40 grain bullet. Put a paster for each chamber on the backer for a sanity check. II, III, and IV look about the same. I looks much like V. This is going to be fun!

Dang! Now that is what I call a proper prospective! II, III, and IV would virtually be one hole if it was a 50 cal!
