50 rounds of 35 grain Hornady 22 Hornet fire forming to K Hornet. I'll size, trim, chamfer, and prime these tomorrow. Maybe load a few with 40s to try..

Dorian chased us from Outer Bank. Now in Gettysburg for 2 days of touring.

Good morning, to all the Jacks.
All, who are under the lash of Dorian, are in our prayers. Be safe and well, everyone!
Fernand seems to be a milder storm, hopefully being more of a help to farmers, than a bad thing for everyone. We need the rain, for the trees, but are too far north for Fernand to help us. SE Texas is having a wet enough year, but the frequent rain seems to keep missing us.
Need to get on the road this morning; my mother’s van needs a PM.
Y’all have a good day.

Friend sent me a text on a woman killed by a black bear in north Rainy Lake area. Believe that over the line and in Canada ?

Finally home. Been a long week. Many good things happened, like my youngest daughter getting engaged. Got to go back the Gettysburg. Bad things, evacuated from NC. Banged up knee. Might need to see a Specialist. Still a great week.

been loading some myself... last I loaded was 500 JRH... these 22 Cooper Centerfire Mags quite the opposite... ran into an issue I've not figured out for sure yet... Fiocchi cases fit in my new Single 8 custom, but the custom made 22 Hornet cases from Quality cartridge do not... pulled some basic measurements & not seeing an obvious reason... guessing it's down by the web, maybe a .001" too thick... will look into that later... since I started with the Quality Cartridge cases, I guess I'm loading for the double action 1st... it's nice that that cylinder is longer... right now I'm starting with H-110 6.5 grains under Barnes 36 grain hollow points... these are long... so need the space to seat the bullets... also loading 7.5 grains under Speer TNT 33 grain bullets... these look more like a handgun bullet, but they are really short & pretty difficult to load... plus the cases are thin... much more challenging that the 500 JRH to load...

Wife just made home made ham salad. With spicy pickles and a bit of medium type peppers ground in. YUM.
