Saw a newspaper article the other day on findings of earlier habitation by man here in the lower 48 than previously thought. Think they were talking like 15-16 thousand years ago, and in Idaho ! I'm betting they were picking Huckleberries..

Thank You. Had co-worker who's son was stationed on Iceland and sent home boxes of sweaters. One ended up here.

Yep, had a few of those sweaters from Denmark, but they shrunk over the years.

Dad was in Greenland for awhile in the US Navy. He said it was too cold.

Pulled the fire ring out, and a tote of wood... brought over some lawn furniture & roasted some cheddar dogs, now listening to the frogs and crickets... 60* been dry enough almost no mosquitoes... pretty peaceful... even only been 1 car gone down the road in the last hour...

I haven't seen a single mosquito this year, but these gnarly gnats are driving us crazy.

Hard to believe it’s September 1st already, what happened to the summer. Kids back to school on Tuesday, leaves will be turning, and the elk will be bugling shortly. Fall is a busy time for sure but winter will provide loading and shooting time. Hope everybody here had a great summer even if it went too fast.

Of course, "almost no mosquitoes", coming from someone in Minnesota... Means you could still see thru the cloud of skeeters. LOL.
