I haven't pulled the Buffalo Seville from the safe in well over 3 years. Did so this afternoon and found the backstrap and frame to have turned a nice plum color. I sort of like it. Hope to put some 315 gr LFNs through it in the coming week. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I have a weak spot in my heart for plum colored guns like that. Every time I see a Ruger with some pluming in the receiver, cylinder or frame I usually buy it..

I like the plum too, Lee. It's like icing on the cake of your beautiful and interesting old Seville. Like squigz, it's hard for me to pass up an old Ruger with plum frame.

Love that gun... BTW... the hammer spur always reminded me of the big Dan Wesson double action hammer spurs

I always liked the Seville spur too. When Sig and Forrest designed the gun, they wanted the hammer to resemble that of a Colt Python. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"
