Thanks for the kind words guys. This project is a really special one for me. And it goes well beyond the gun itself. The time spent with my dad and the memories we'll have from photos and video are priceless. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time" You said it all there Lee.That is a nice looking piece you guys have created.

The highlight of this project came yesterday when I finally got to meet Mike Barranti. Mike, his two sons, and Jeff Hoover made the trip to Arlington and we had a great day together. First, Whitworth gave us a tour of the NRA museum. For as many times as I go to the NRA to visit him I haven't been in the museum in 6 or 7 years. Yesterday reminded me I need to go more often. This was followed by lunch, a quick tour of my dad's machine shop, and Mike presenting me with the holster. The finished product far exceeded my expectations: Mike presenting me the holster in my gun room: My dad and Mike, flanked by me. The first two guys in the photo made all this possible: I want to thank Mike again for being part of this project. Its meant a lot to me and has created a friendship that'll last a lifetime (same goes for Tank). Much appreciated Mike. Now we just need to get you two back for range time with the gun. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

It was really great getting the opportunity to meet Mike, Tank, Ethan, and Frankie! We had a great time visiting, eating, and talking guns. Plus, I took delivery of this beautiful piece of leather!! Thanks, Mike! Next time we need to burn some powder!

No Shooting? With no shooting I'd expect this crew to be standing around with their heads over a coffee can with a little 4227 or H110 burning in the bottom..

You'll be shooting it soon Whit. I just need to blue it and we'll be set. I also have five-hundred 335 gr WLNs and a new 8 lb jug of H110 to feed it. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

We finally blued the gun: Forgot to take Mike Barranti's leather along though so I'll be photographing it again soon. Now all that's left is to shoot it (and with 1,000 335 grain WLN's on-hand it'll get broken in fast). -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"
