So true.I am building a 1948 Anglia with a 737 inch Sonny Leonard Hemi in it.Engine cost me more than my house did! Sounds like a handful, but my kind of handful. Sonny power and that short a wheelbase should make for some interesting launches. Definitely keep us posted. A close friend of our family owns this '33 Willys. It has a 605 CID Hemi with two stages and like your Anglia it takes balls to drive. It usually goes straight, but when it doesn't hook you're all over the wheel (standing at the starting line I've seen the doors at 45 degrees more than once). Hot rods and drag racing are total money pits though. Makes gun collecting seem cheap. I hate to think about how many other customs I'd have if I got out of cars years ago. Then again, no gun has ever matched the adrenaline rush I get from a long burnout. -Lee That's a sweet looking willys, there too.Mine is only a street car-built for show and a little bit of "go",I hope.It also has two stages of n20.Looking for around 1300hp without the bottle.I had to widen the car 6" to get the engine to fit.Fun project for sure.I would try to post pics, but this is a gun site and don't want to upset anybody here for posting car stuff. Thanks for your interest guys. www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Feel free to post pictures (maybe in the Lounge section). We have a lot of car people on-board. Plus I really want to see that Anglia. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Scuse me while I whip this out.... Great case hardening, and I love the contours of that front sight on the band.
