500L Shooting? Sure.. I've got a few. In Single Actions I have one Gallagher 500L, two Reeder 500Ls, and one Bowen 500L. Believe it or not I've shot them ALL! The 500 Max is sitting at my FFL... Should be holding it any day now...

I couldn't justify buying any custom, or any gun for that matter, if it didn't get shot hard.

I never get tired of seeing these. A trio in 45, 475, and 51 are on my short list.

While I don't trade for anything I don't plan to shoot there wouldn't be time to shoot everything I have on a regular basis if I was two people. A lifetime of hard work at a good paying job has its rewards. When I retire I may have a shot at shooting them all. For now I'll buy, sell, trade, and shoot when I can...

I agree.. IMHO that cut nosed SRH has got to be the best looking big bore DA platform out there.. I bought one of the first RHs and played with the trigger for a while before I gave up (about 30 years ago). Can't argue that the SRH isn't a bit homely but close your eyes and pull the trigger. In addition to my 500L SRH I've got a 7.5 inch 44, 454 and 480 SRH.

There is always Hamilton Bowen, then you already know that. He makes them in the big 'uns too. Man, that is sexy!! Axe, that is a beautiful piece!

I realize this is an old thread, but in my searching of SRH's this is one of my favorites! What length barrel is this?

Five inches. That was one of my most accurate hunting revolvers.
