Man Whit that is one slick looking peice of work. Looking at this has just sealed the fate of a 44mag bisley vaquero I have stashed away. I have to have it converted into something in 50 caliber. Two questions, The barrel is 5 1/2 inches? The space in back of the trigger guard looks different than a standard bisley. Am I seeing modification of the grip frame or just a contouring of the stocks? Looks like a bit of extra knuckle room.

My regular shooting brass will be cut-down .50 Alaskan brass. I was going to cut them down Sunday, but something came up Whit -Lee www.singleactions.comThe something that came up is definitely more important -- LOL!

It could have been shorter but I wanted a barrel band. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you, Jack does create more room between the trigger guard and your knuckles by modifying the grip frame. Thanks, guys!

What was the original donor gun? That long cylinder makes me think .357 Max.

Showoff!
Well done! I would love to try one of those someday, maybe even with a SBH grip frame...
Is it too late to add that one to the cover of your book?

Whit, that is one nice handgun! Is this your first from Huntington? How long was your wait?

Whit, that is one nice handgun! Is this your first from Huntington? How long was your wait? It's my fifth from Huntington if I can recall correctly. This one took a little less than a year but there were a couple of delays that were out of our control. The best grade revolvers take longer than a "field grade" piece due to the extra time spent in massaging. Thank you, sir!

After holding Whit's 500 and shooting the hell out of my Max, Jack definitely gives you more room behind the trigger guard. Hope it helps because if not you end-up like this: -Lee www.singleactions.com

Tell me about the boxes you store ammo in. I wouldn't think there will be no box made for the 500 Max so what comes close? There should be 500 S&W ammo boxes out there...
