WOW That gun is simply stunning. BTW: what are you planning on hunting with that? Dump Trucks, Cement Mixers, possibly the occasional M1A Abrams? You could use it as a post hole digger. Fire it into the ground, add about 2 shovel fulls of dirt to get the hole back to a reasonable depth then insert the post.

That is one AWESOME looking revolver. I imagine it will shoot as good as it looks. I bet the wait seemed long, but worth it now. Look forward to the shooting report.

Max, Looks great! Your pictures show how well everything flows, Jack really worked on the fit of the bisley gripframe to the maximums frame. Great bluing, it looks wet but not over-polished. If your wondering my 500maximum works good on rabbits. ;D ;D ;D

Just held Whit's 500 Max and the photos don't do it justice guys. It's quite a piece and not surprisingly Jack's fit and finish are top notch. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Nice looking Max, now you can give that Hogleg Alaskan a rest. Where did you scrounge up that Hornady brass?

I'll never give the Alaskan a rest! That's my warm up revolver. You shoot that one a couple of times and you are ready for anything! ;D I'm shooting the same bullets in both -- just a bit faster in the Alaskan.
I bought the brass from a friend a couple of years ago in anticipation of this project. My regular shooting brass will be cut-down .50 Alaskan brass.
