Why, what would it do that my 5 shot FA 83 in 41 mag can't do? Or better yet, what can it do the long cylinder 5 shot 414 Supermag can't do? ;D

Send the 41 mag FA 83 to Reeder to be rechambered to 410 GNR? EXCELLENT IDEA!!! Sounds like something I might do myself! I've actually asked about sending a FA 357, 44, and 454 to Gary to become 356 GNR, 429 GNR, and 455 GNR respectively! He is up for it! Since I have multiple FAs in these cailbers I'd still be holding proper FAs... If I owned a pair of 41 mag FAs a 41 GNR if not a 410 GNR would have been on the list too!

Man Mr. Tom, if that 29 was a 57 it would be perfect!
Just made a deal for the first gun of 2012. ( I know, I wasn't going to buy anymore right now but I couldn't resist) It is an old model 7 1/2" Blackhawk 45 Colt/45 ACP with the box and a brass MR3-BD gripframe that the original owner says was on it when he bought it in early 1974. Won't know if it letters or not until a week or so but still for the price, I could not pass it up.

Was hopin' to get my Clements back this year or the Stainless 4-5/8" FT 45 by now, but it looks like the FT is gonna arrive next week and not sure when the Clements will be finished. Just gives me someting to look forward to before the Mayan calendar runs out!!!
That means the stainless Winchester Model 70FW w/ BOSS in .308 that I purchased a couple months ago will be the last gun "Buy" from this year!!! Whoo Hoo.... Just looked and the bases and rings are waiting at the post office right now!!! Gotta Go.....
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!

Bought a beater Rem 700 this month for the sole purpose of robbing the action. Before I unscrewed the barrel I decided to shoot it. Wouldn't you know it, the beat up, plastic stocked, Wally World special shoots 1/2" groups with some reloads I just had lying around. Looks like I got a new truck/ATV rifle.
Happy New Year!

Not South East? Don't worry about that. We gleefully accepted those Hawgs into the SEC.. They are closer than Texas A&M and Missouri. Only three hours left in the central time zone... Guess I'll be looking for #1 in 2012

Mr. Tom, I love the looks of the stag grip on that 29. How old are they? Bill

I bought the stags at the S&W collectors auction. Don't know how I wound up there but I was glad I did.
Have no idea of the age.
