Scratches? On My guns? For sure on the 7mm BR. I have owned it for 25 years.... Don't think there is a mark on the 221...

Axehandle: Do you have an inexhaustable supply of pictures and/or a 1,000 square foot (or more) gun safe??
Totally amazing (I assume these all all yours).
Your sickness has obviously gone on a lot longer (and been funded far better) than average. Do you count / inventory them or just keep up with the gross tonnage?
Thanks for sharing.

Surely you don't think these are all mine? Pictures are cheap and easy... You guys know that I don't even like guns! ;D While not as old as some of the guys here I have had the bug for a long time.... I have also been blessed by the good Lord with a good job and an understanding wife...

Axe, Upon reflection, I'm sure you'll recall that you were supposed to SHOOT those turkeys off the stand, not walk down there and SMACK them off the stand with the gunstock! ;D I started shootin' (or smackin') 'em off the stands in my first match in Oct.- Nov. '78. I gather from your previously published IHMSA number that you must have started about the same time.

Yup I joined IHMSA about that time too (3304L)... The IHMSA stuff never got started around here. I found bullseye. The only 200 meter steel I ever shot with it were the plates at the Masters in '87...

boxhead I had one just like that for a while. Untill my boss who owned it wanted it back. It was a 7BR custom shop like yours and it would out shoot my my rifles.

I have been thinking about one of these lately, any of you guys have any exoerience with the one savage mkes I had a stainless Savage "Super Striker" with the laminated thumbhole stock in .308 for a couple of years. The trigger needed a bit of lightening, but it was very accurate. And I say accurate in the context of having owned many single shot silhouette and hunting handgunsover the years. However, the scoped Savage is quite heavy. It would be just fine on the range, in a box blind or treestand, but a bit of a chore to carry in the Rockies.

I was contemplating one with some kind of sight setup in the rear scope mount holes and an aperture front.
