I had my Chevy II out yesterday and finally snapped a decent photo of it: Not gun related, but I know we have some car people on the forum. -Lee www.singleactions.com

That's pretty cool looking. What sort of HP are you getting in that thing? I'm not super familiar with all the drag cars but I sure appreciate the work that goes into building them as my uncle has been doing it for years but then got into more classic cars type things.....

Lee, is that 8.54 @ 160 mph on the bottle? If so what are you pulling without nitrous? What kind of motor are you running? I love hot rods as much a sixguns. For the most part sixguns are usually more affordable

8.54 was with the bottle. Unsprayed it'll go around 9 flat. The car hasn't seen the strip since the paint went on (in primer I ran an aluminum wing, wheelie bars, and had a chute on the rear). The motor is a 540 Chevy and sits on a full tube chassis so it's light. Weighs around 2,650 lbs. -Lee www.singleactions.com

That's a 65 is it not? I always liked those, but never really had a deep desire to own a drag car, but I did build drag pickup once, then watched everybody's jaw drop when I pulled the camper to the strip, unhooked, pulled off the tailgate, bench seat, and some other extra stuff I didn't need, stuck a cheapo Summit race seat in it and ran a 9.40

Lee, Thanks for making me feel like a kid again. Thats just like your guns, very nice. Did you build it up yourself? I understand that you have to hire some of the work out but did run the project from the begining?

Nice small block bowenbuilt. What's the CID? Aluminum heads, single plane intake, you must have a pretty big cam in that thing?I bet that thing sounds pretty mean
