Definitely pure music but I love the old 1969-1970 Mustang Boss 429 Hemi dual carburetor, 475 HP right off the assembly line and only 1371 made. A dream car at about $100K in great shape.

My nailhead sounds similar: It runs an old style Schneider cam under 12.5:1 compression and flows thru straight pipes....no mufflers, no baffles (by "old style" cam, I mean tight lobe seperation, big lift, big duration). They may not build the power of todays solid rollers, but they sound so much better. -Lee www.singleactions.com

www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZQgNZ3gBmMducati....yes. hot rod....damn skippy. sounds every bit as good to my ear as the rat rod. if you're anywhere close to south texas in a couple of weekends, the texas mile is being held at the old auxiliary naval landing field between beeville and goliad, about 1.5hrs south of san antone. people running everything in between the rat rods and jet cars, hayabusas over 250mph. serious hot rods that really walk the walk. www.texasmile.com

Duc's are special.
I prefer the 2V to the 4 valve. I had a 95' 900SS SP with a stage II kit an Arrow Carbon cans. What music.
How long can I go without a nother Duc? The old Airhead BMs are saving me right now.l

Definately sweet.Hope to do this with my Anglia one of these days. That's why I am going to sell several of my guns, even my Linebaugh built 475 Long, and Ruger Vaquero, and several others. The hot rod is more important.Hope other people on here post their stuff, too!Guns AND hot rods are fun

Working with new cars really sucks, kids with mustangs and turbo mufflers....I miss my 460 Police interceptor, wfo at the 1-2 shift...ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. An uncle had a wicked 57 Ford stepside, stroked 427 sideoiler tunnelram and 2 750 double pumpers THAT was one sweet sounding machine wide open. As far as bikes, still dont think the pro stock Suzukis can be beat and for street bikes,a local guy has a Honda Valkerie with 6 into 6 vance and hines, sounds like an F1 car.

For bikes, the Honda CBX, inline 6 was very nice sounding, with a pipe. Lots of valve action going on in the background ! steve b
