No problems whatsoever Brad...just trying to understand the forcing cone stuff. Seems like they would cut it on some sort of lathe, using the bore as a guide...but then that might only apply to one off construction.
A mechanized production line may have multiple machining operations going at the same time which could get out of kilter. Lee has extensive machining experience as I recall, hence my questions. I wasn't questioning your statement about the forcing cone being off center.

I've got two of the Lipsey's .44 Spl's....one in each length and both will shoot sub 2" gps on demand at 25 yds, handloads, shot from the old Elmer Keith long range position...(back against a stop, knees raised, the gun extended between them and shot two handed....tough on the inside of your levi's knees, but accurate as he..)
