Sold my 300 VJR TC. Skimming thought the stuff I run up on the 17 Mach IV I loaded for the matching Vern Juenke built 17 Mach IV. A 221 fireball necked to 17. Thinking I need to get it out to play. Here are old pictures of it. I'm thinking we need new pictures....

Vern wrote he used tapered hinge pins and larger hinge pins. Never took the forearm off the 300 VJR to check the pin in it. I'll actually look at this one. And post pictures!

I like the 17 Mach IV in my Contender. Very efficient and stops groundhogs cold. I've hit them before and wasn't even sure I did because they didn't seem to move. Just instantly dead.

Loads from December 2002. The brass has never even fire formed. Working through that now. FWIW the cases are a micro smidgen long. The action does NOT want to close. 25 Grain Berger 14.5 grains of H4198
