I am trying to hold off on it. I have a Ruger 10mm/.38-40 that I had John Powers making for me is just about finished and payment will be due shortly. This one has been a long time coming (no fault of John’s)

I've had a couple of offers to work the counter at gun shops that I taught at. After realizing that I'd be teaching and handing all of the money back to the owner after working the counter I knew it wouldn't work out :-)

The BFR Banana Bisley looks unorthodox but handles recoil very well.

I like the Bisley on the BFR so much, I talked Ronnie Wells into offering it for a Ruger as a regular listing. But it does look strange. So I talked him into bringing the back strap up into a more traditional Bisley style that fixed that. He named it the Hager BB5. I'd like to get a BB5 in stainless for my BFR in 500L as soon as he starts offering those.

I do find myself liking this ugly banana grip frame more and more when dancing along the sanity edge with the 500 jrh.  |

I've played that particular game myself with my Bisley Blackhawk 4-5/8 in 480. I'm still trying to learn to break clean shots with high grip pressure. It is a struggle for me. |
