messed around with a dall sheep horn grip adapter. I’ve had this idea for a while now. I really wanted to try it with ivory first but the right chunk of ivory never came along. figured Dall sheep horn was the next best thing lol. i still have to fiddle with it some. That is the handiest, classiest piece of pistol ornamentation I've ever seen. Can I be first on the list?

View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentI wish I was working on gun projects, but my hunting season and the next two months are going towards the full home remodel. Not fun work, but will definitely be nice when it’s done I know that feeling Mike, I’m looking at a bigger new shop, helping mom with healthcare facility, some internal home upgrades and other stuff,……total is in the 6 digit neighborhood. So my planned overseas hunting trip next year is being pushed out to 2026, maybe I should stop buying and ordering custom guns? ?……..NAH!!!! it’s back to chasing down an electrical short for me today under my car hauler Trapr

Life has a Way of getting in the way of having fun! Theres always maintenance, repairs, helping family and friends. Trying to get it all done to create some fun time with family and for my own peace of mind. I try to think about everyone’s trials and tribulations, as you never know what issues they are dealing with trying to just get by. The Lord tests us now and again, we just need to get thru it all the best we can. Got the lumber and roofing cleared from around the house, running the sprinklers to try and keep the lawn alive. No rest for the wicked I guess.

it’s back to chasing down an electrical short for me today under my car hauler Trapr If that's a trailer, did no one ever tell you ALL trailer lights.....and 2 cycle engines.....are demonically possessed? Me, got one SU carb off my MG-A rebuilt and waiting for the cork seals to soak in oil for 24 hours before I put the other back together. Then both back on the car, dial them in and down the road we'll go!!

I just crawled out from under it and have decided it will be easier to simply rewire it from scratch than try and find the bad connection. Plus I’m on my 5th blown fuse in the truck fuse box everytime I hook up and try to see if it works now the trailer light fuse blows. I’ll replace the lights and wires after the weekend.

This weeks project at church. This is part of the front of the sanctuary that had been behind heavy black drapes for years. They asked me to take solid oak T&G paneling off and reframe the area so they can use the wall as the screen and remove the large hanging screen. The cut line in the second picture is about 8'-9' up and the rest obviously goes up from there. After battling that heavy curtain all day I told them that drape either comes down, gets cut off or someone else can finish the job. No way I will frame and sheetrock behind that stupid thing while working with just a plug in light behind that black drape. Sounds like the lead pastor is kind of a control freak so we will have an honest conversation tomorrow or he can finish it.

Finished up the SU carbs on the MG-A, installed them, dialed them in and took off down the road!! It's good to have it running right.
