I would be leery of needing a sight all the way elevated in order to get a solid zero. It tends to leave the sight with little extra support to protect against damage while in the field. Maybe a front sight change or alteration would allow for a better bedded rear sight.

Maybe a front sight change or alteration would allow for a better bedded rear sight. Trapr I WOULD LIKE TO SEAT THE RS A LITTLE DEEPER AND HAVE THE FS TRIMMED LOWER JUST A MEASURED TAD. I HAD TO CUT MY SHOOTING SESSION SHORT BECAUSE OF AN APPOINTMENT AND I WANT TO SHOOT AT SOME SPINNERS OFF A REST AND OFF HAND and/or MAYBE DO SOME RELOADIN BEFORE I DECIDE WHAT TO DO.
