Rey, I use the Matt's Wadcutters. They're 250 grn but seat very shallow and are ideal for the Auto Rim.
I request Matt make the from the Hardened Alloy @ 18 and coat them.
Hope this helps, Huey

Rey, try those 270gr SWC we got from Dick,…..or some 250xtp’s. They shoot great from my 1917 right at 800-830fps.

I like the 230gr version of the 452490 with the gas check reamed out to plain base. It shouldn't have been a gas check design to begin with and could only possibly need one with the Rowland.

I have a LBT 451 240 LFN mold. For some reason they came out weighing almost 270 grains when I made them. I never tried shooting any yet. I could cast them in a different alloy and powder coat them if your interested in trying them.

What mold did Miha make a mold for a long/heavy .45 bullet?
I know he did cause I cast a bunch and loaded about a dozen in .45 Colt brass and they’re too long for everything but a long cylinder 5 shot gun…
I’ll see if I can figure it out tomorrow..

I believe they were a 300 some grain hollow point called For Ruger Only. I have the mold. I shoot them from my 450 Bushmaster. The are entirely too big for the 45 AR.

It is the Ruger only. Designed for the Redhawk is my understanding.

The first bullet is the Lyman 452423 and the 3rd is the LBT 452 280 WFN.
