Regarding Bergara, I watched a video on them the other day regarding barrel production. They contacted Ed Shilen to help them tool up for barrels.

6.5 CM if he wants to shoot a lot. 6.5 PRC would be expensive to shoot very much.

Recall years back when bowhunting, the fight by the manufacturers to get crossbows legalized in Oh and Penn.. One of my gang was sponsored by, worked for, PSE. He brought the latest and great crossbows up to deer camp for us to try. As accurate as the crossbows could be, at around 40yds you could tell the smaller bolts were losing steam compared to the hunting weight cam bows. In Ohio, the woods filled up with gun hunters that wanted to hunt in nicer weather, and of course, the RUT. But these were NOT archers, we had a good little clique. In 2-3 years my tree stands were stolen and trespassing went way up. I sold my archery gear and bought a Lyman 54 Great Plains rifle, and killed deer with that.
