I really like the factory crimp die. I wish they made it for the 500L. I'll have to check on a custom from Lee if they're that reasonable for a custom.

I wish they offered more of them as a regular stocked item. Its kind of a pain adding the extra loading step, but not a big deal for hunting ammo and well worth the effort there. Its also nice to be able to crimp wherever you like instead of being tied into a crimp groove. |

Now I will have to ask about a carbide size die as well. My Hornady set for the 500L isn't carbide.

Now I will have to ask about a carbide size die as well. My Hornady set for the 500L isn't carbide. I spoke too soon. Foot in mouth. I just looked and the 500L is too big for the die bodies it says. The wording is kind of confusing as to which doe they are referring to so a call may still be in order. |
