Nice job, that's a tough looking piece. Ready to ride the border country.

I’ve been using .002 shims in a 44 SBH and a 357 BH, just loose on the front of the cylinders. They seem to disintegrate in less than 100 rounds. When I remove the cylinders for cleaning the shims are gone or there might be a little bit of burned up shim left. I’ve been using shims from Triggershims .com Anybody else have this problem?

I’ve been using .002 shims in a 44 SBH and a 357 BH, just loose on the front of the cylinders. Explain: just loose on the front of the cylinder...With cylinder out of the gun I carefully align the shim on the front of the cylinder, then very carefully insert the cylinder and shim into the gun, making sure the shim stays in place. If it goes according to plan the base pin will slide right in.
