A friend is getting a Henry Big Boy. If you have a 45 Colt lever action, what is your favorite handload?

280 gr LBT WFN air cooled WW and lubed with LBT blue. Starline brass, FGM155, H110, 23 gr was best in both 5-1/2 Ruger Bisley (1152 fps) and my 20" Win M92 (1530 fps). At 50 yds I'm able to keep a cylinder full at or under 3" from the Bisley and under 2" with the M1892. This load is not intended in old 45's. Use only in modern higher pressure firearms. The Henry being one of them.

My favorite load for any of my guns are the ones IT tells me IT likes after experimenting. That's why we have manuals,, and lots of tested data to try out.

My Winchester 94AE liked 200-250 LRN with Lyman's loads for Red Dot. I haven't shot it yet with my powder coated bullets yet.

My favorite load is the RCBS 255 grain SWC over top 9.0 grains of Unique. Nice pleasant load for both my Winchester 94 Trapper and my early Marlin Cowboy 94.

My Henry big boy 45 colt loves 22 grains AA#9, with a MBW 250 gr gas checked wfn bullet, they chamber perfectly, and accuracy is excellent, have to use the shorter swc, longer ones don't cycle through, but fit the chamber, the 9 gr of unique load mentioned above is a great one too

MY 16" WINCHESTER SRC MODEL 94 AE IN 45 COLT PREFERS SWC BULLETS OVER RNFP BULLETS, IN IT I USE A 275gr SWC PC'ed HP FROM SIXSHOT OVER 19grs OF 2400 IN WINCHESTER CASES USING WINCHESTER MATCH WLP's, GOOD FOR 1,330 fps IN A 10" CONTENDER, PROBABLY 1,500 fps PLUS IN THE SRC.

I have the online subscription. I found that column but it doesn't show any loads on my computer. I tried 3 different browsers in case it wasn't loading the page correctly. Does the print edition show the loads?
Probably would be a good reason to get the print subscription along with the online subscription.
