I like it! I want one! Where do I send the money? I'm working my way through finishing a couple personal projects, then my next step will be to run out some of my sight styles once I've finalized all the details, and finish up some lanyard rings in SS too. I'll post here once there are completed units available.

I got around to finishing a blade for a single six with brass bead. Six different groups through the black oxide till I was happy with the uniform jet black. I think I have the process down now. I put all my Single Six bases in an oily shop towel, in a ziplock bag, and if I ever remember where I put that bag . . . I'll have completed a project for once!

I black oxided a FO blade too, but all the light pipes are in my desk drawer at work, so I might post a pic of that once a fit a light pipe to it. Maybe I'll turn up a base and have a completed project pic? Excellent chance that bag of bases is floating around at work. Sure didn't find it in the shed this weekend.

I really like the looks of that contoured no crosspin base.

I really like the looks of that contoured no crosspin base. Thanks, that's scheduled for my 41 mag project.

I like how you used a screw vs spring and plunger. This should actually make sight changes easier. A lot of times with the plungers it takes a feat of strength to push them back that last hair!
Good job! I see sales in your future.

I found the screw design to be quite easy to swap around the blades.

Is the one on the right,, with the flat face,, serrated or smooth? It looks smooth,, and a serrated one might be a good one to try!
