I wanted to share a photo of the Alaska moose that I recently took with my 500 S&W. I hunted with Phil Shoemaker's outfit again (Grizzly Skins of Alaska) and had another great hunt. Even though we initially spotted him from more than 2 miles away, my guide and I were able to get within 50 yards of him. I put a couple of 400 grain WFN Lehigh Defense solids in his right shoulder and he didn't travel 5 yards before tipping over. It was a fun hunt!  |

Thanks for sharing! Love it. Moose is one critter I'd love to take. I've eaten some & truly enjoyed it. Congrats on a fine handgun hunt!
