Ater "Big Bore" the "Small Bore" thread had to happen, didn't it? Almost can't count the people who have come to the range, tried a light weight 38 revolver, said OUCH!, and went home. Get the same people to shoot the Charter Arms 32 and they buy. Looking at the Charter Arms web site I see 22, 22 mag, and 9mm versions.. All we have are 44s, 38s, and 32s.

Early on I had two bad experiences with Charter Arms 44 bulldogs that soured me on them. So, I have a hard time trusting their ability to stand up too much abuse. But within that framework I find the 32mag to maybe be the ideal purpose for that design. Certainly not going to overwork the envelope and makes a tidy, easy to shoot little gun. Hey, almost the only game in town as few makers produce 32 snubs anymore.

DO NOT RECALL WHAT IT WAS, BUT JAMES FROM JERSEY CARRIED A SNUB NOSE 32 SOMETHING IN HIS FIELD BAG AT THE ANNUAL YO HANDGUN HUNT, AND APPLIED A LOT OF FINISHERS (coup de grace) FOR MANY HUNTERS WITH IT. HAVE OFTEN THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING A CHARTER 32 MAG BUT JUST GOT NO NEED FOR ONE AS I HAVE OTHER SMALL FRAMED SHORT BARRELED REVOLVERS IN 22 MMAG, 32 S&W LONG AND 327 THAT COVER THAT NEED.

"Need" Now that is a term that usually doesn't fit us well...
