I’ve probably shot more .38 special than any other center fire round. Just a great plinking/ target round. Economical to shoot high volume and pleasant. Some may think the .44 special is the greatest round ever invented but give me a .357 magnum and I can shoot .38’s out of it 90% of the time and when I need power I can use .357’s.

Me 2. I like 38 Special. Like it so much bought an MP 148 WC mold or 124 HB. Nothing beats a slicked up S&W Model 10 HB for just plinking paper or pick up an old Custom PPC revolver. Got a converted L frame with a tube dot, chopped 8 3/8 barrel with a barrel weight. Nice relaxing afternoon hoping primers.

Love the 38. Got em in everything from a custom bullseye pistol to a few dozen "Saturday Night Special" cheapies.

Love the 38. This one was made in 1951 & has been well shot.

My favorite .38 aside from running .38s in a model 19 is this old M&P. Small primer shortage as kept me from shooting it much lately. The gun is surprisingly accurate considering the rudimnetary sights.
