Thank you for putting this together, that was quite the undertaking. You're right, John Linebaugh was a man to be remembered.
I remember those Ross Seyfried articles, they're what got me into handgun hunting in a big way.

I had the great honor of talking to John so many times on the phone and even though I only had a S&W 629 4" 44 that he wasn't a fan of, He was always willing to give me advice on loading and shooting it even though he knew I could never afford one of his Fantasticly made guns. Such a nice patient gentleman that never rushed me off the phone.
I'll always be grateful for those talks!

Hi Fellas,
I was trying to open a few of those Guns & Ammo articles from 1986 about Johs 500 and 475 but the links won't open for me. Are they just for reference or is it just my phone not being able to open them?

Awesome resource, thanks for compiling it. I didn't get to meet him, nor own any of his guns, but I have read some of his works and about his cartridges.
