When looking over the Anacondas on hand I had remarked that the bolt didn't look especially robust and would require some care over time.
Time will tell i suppose, as it came home already.

The challenge is to keep the bolt engaged throughout the Firing cycle * Ignition. * Combustion. * Barrel time. * Recoil. * Recoil recovery. Provided the new Anaconda bolt holds the cylinder notch throughout the firing cycle with magnum ammunition, you should be good to go, David Bradshaw

I recently got a 3" 629. Love it. Very manageable with 240 grain mag loads but oh so sweet with my .44 Special Skeeter loads as well as my 180 grain .44 Specials. The gun is built well, smooth, tight lock up, balanced nicely, trigger is quite good, and it fits my hand, my needs and my wants.
That said, I also just but money down on a new Anaconda 6". Just couldn't help myself.

I just picked up a new Python 4” and 6” Anaconda, this Anaconda is the best DA 44 I’ve owned. Very smooth action SA and The best DA I’ve used it will get a trigger job so I can achieve 2 3/4-3 lb pull I’m used too. I see a Blacktail Buck in it’s future this fall, this will be 40 years since my first handgun deer that I got with my 7.5” Redhawk back in 83!
