....Well, I looked on Haus of Arms' site and it appears that they really believe these will be shipping THIS MONTH....
Ummmm,....it's"NEXT month" already.
Anyone surprised?
But, there's THIS anyway:
"SSK Firearms First batch of 20 receivers are going to heat treat tomorrow. Heat treat, glass bead, flat wheel grind, assembly should take 2.5 weeks. We should be at 50 units/week for a while while we refine the production flow."
Posted today by Marty on Haus of Arms' Blog, taken from the SSK Facebook page(?) form 2/26.

I did see that they are $395 now instead of the $275 when we got on the list. Darned inflation!

I did see that they ate $395 now instead of the $275 when we got on the list. Darned inflation! Definitely an uptick in price, however they're not up charging for the flat side frame now.

For just under what used frames are selling for on the market, you get a new in the box frame. It has never been Bubba'd, stretched, or toyed with, and you can get a flat side at no extra cost. Yes it has been a long wait, but I have held and seen one in action with 4 of my barrels being shot on that frame. I wish they could have used the original cougar on the side of the frame but they couldn't so, mine will have the Lynx

Is the SSK-50 any better than the G1 Contender frame?

It is an easy open frame where the first Contenders were not [there never was a G1 frame it was just called a Contender]. It is held to some pretty tight tolerances. Any better, only time will tell as only a limited number are in shooters hands at this moment. Due to work constraints my son only has about 100 rounds thru his so far. We do have a silhouette match this Sunday at Crittenden Ky. and if we can attend he will shoot the new frame there possibly another 135 rounds.

Out of stock on their website yesterday. I submitted my email for notification for when they will be available to order. Got the email notification this morning that they are taking orders.

There was a glitch with the automated notification system and the emails were sent by mistake. They are still out of stock but Marty assured me that everyone on the wait list will be notified when their name comes up.

So the $375.00 is the price now? Says price is subject to change up till production time?

I believe the most recent price is $395 for the Lynx, Hausofarms logo, and the flatside. Marty is very responsive to emails so you could ask him if they will honor the $275 price if you were on the waitlist prior to production. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't, so I'm expecting to pay full price.

The original introductory price is being honored if you were on the waiting list.
Call or e-mail to verify your status.

Well for what its worth my son and went to Crittenden Ky today and he shot his new SSK flat side frame with 3 different barrels 22 Hornet .22 lr and 7-30 Waters. He shot a big bore 40, or perfect score with the 7-30 Waters barrel. Fell on his a$$ with the other two barrels but no shame on the gun, but the shooter. There was one hiccup as his 41 Mag barrel would not drop the interlock safety, so would not fire. This was a fault of the barrel not the frame, minor fitting will be required on this barrel. Some barrels required fitting on the original frames too. Lehigh Defense/ SSK Industry's were the producers of the frames and Hausofarms.com were to be the distributers as I understand it. We should get our 3 pre ordered/pre paid frames by the end of next week . I am not the most patient man in the world by any means but am glad I stayed the course as we will get something very good in the end. More when they come in.

Dang it! I hate waiting for guns. My Shiloh Sharps took 3 years, I hope to have this well before that time.
