I posted about this gun a few years back. It was in an estate sale for a very reasonable price.
A friend asked me to buy it as he didn't have the funds available. Deal was, he'd get it from me shortly. Well, you all know how that works.
Time passed and three years was my limit. Asked him one last time and he told me to keep it or sell it.
Today, I decided to shoot it for the first time. I'd added some grips from Ebay that I had originally planned to remove and keep if he came to get the gun.
So, while shooting a new Iver Johnson 10mm today, I decided to try this gun out.

Range on this one was at 20 yards. Target (Election Sign) was in place for the 10mm.
Gun is shooting a little right. After shooting, I noticed the rear sight was sitting too far right. I'll correct this to center and call it one good. One thing I noticed about this gun was very tight chambers. All ammo fit, but required a light push to fully chamber.
Winchester 40grn produced 1300+ fps. Should be a dandy small game getter...

Very nice. .22 magnum is one of my favorite rounds. Very under appreciated for what it can do IMHO.

I live very, very rural. I've used the 22 Magnum more than any other cartridge around my place.
Goes without saying, I agree completely...

No, they're an Ebay Item from Thailand. Very nice grain that the pictures don't do justice.
A unique design that fits my hand very well. I kept the factory panels. But, these work so much better...

Really nice. This is one I'd like to add to my own collection. The 3" Ruger LCR in 22 Mag is a neat one too.

A K frame in the 22 mag would be a great addition, I would like a good lever gun in 22 mag also !...tj

Was great that your friend never came through...
Had one just like yours for about 15 years...had the original box and extra .22 Long Rifle cylinder. Ended up selling it a few years ago when I downsized my DA .22 collection...
