I got a set done and am quite impressed. I’ve had the very best do grips for me and I’ll say, especially for the price he does a good job.

I have a couple sets if his grips and I study them often as I’m learning the grip making process. If I didn’t want to make my own and wanted a set of nice grips without a long delay I’d order a set in a heart beat.

If you order them wax finished, it's Johnson's Paste Wax. I prefer mine that way. |

That’s good info. Last set I ordered I requested them unfinished and did a bunch of coats of tung oil with some 0000 steel wool after coats. Turned out nice.
I didn’t love the spar urethane. It flaked off under my Aggie ring.

They look great to me.
I Really like the idea of a FAST turnaround.
