Good thing your a handgunner. I wouldn’t take that rifle out and use it in the field. My handguns show some signs of wear, and use. I’m ok with that

It's just SO hard to go wrong with a Rossi/Ruger combo.
I miss my Rossi. I still keep hoping my brother will get sick of mine and try to trade it back, but I will never bring it up to him again, ow that I know how much he likes it.

Good thing your a handgunner. I wouldn’t take that rifle out and use it in the field. My handguns show some signs of wear, and use. I’m ok with that Mike, I figure if I ever get an opportunity to hunt bear in Canada, this will be my weapon of choice since I can’t take a short gun.

Perfect gun for that. I’ve taken two Elk and two bears with a lever gun in Canada. Levers feel good in the hand, and there fun to play with. The only reason I would use anything other than a handgun to hunt with, is restrictive Canadian gun laws.

Can’t even walk out To my range (100’ from the shop) and try the new rear sight, it’s currently snowing, and windy. I found I had a hard time quickly seeing the front sight on the 480, so I added a dot of bright yellow, and replaced the rear tiny buckhorn with a marbles rear target bulls eye sight. All I can say is wow, what a difference.
