I'm not the biggest lever gun fan, but these have levers so they might count. No 3 in 357 Max Browning 1885 low wall in 45 Colt Most of my companion long guns are Contenders. I think a Lightning in 38-40 might be my next companion rifle to a Harton OM 38-40.

I guess I have 4 combos, a Henry .22 with a pair of Heritage revolves. A Uberti '73 rifle in .357 with a Uberti '51 RM conversion and a Uberti SAA in .357. A Uberti '66 and a Pair of Uberti SAAs in .44-40 and finally a Uberti 73 rifle in .45 Colt with 5 different .45 Colt wheelguns. Yup, Cowboy Action Shooting is addictive!

I owned that 10mm marlin ranger point gun for about a minute...twice! It was Adam at Ranger points personal gun, paid $4500 for it. Gun was a hoot to shoot and amazingly accurate, but blew the cases in half every shot. I sent it back to Adam and he fixed the heads pace issue and returned it. 10 rounds in it started splitting cases again. I sent it back to Adam again. He called me a week later and said he couldn't fix it, he refunded me. Ranger point sold all the rights to Grizzly customs and they now offer the Marlin 10mm conversions.

HAD a 16" Rossi 92 in 357, which I traded or sold to my brother, the consummate "horse-trader."
Many things have passed back and forth between us over the many years, trading back and forth, mostly for the sake of trading.
That danged 92 broke the cycle and he won't even acknowledge that I spoke if I mention trading that one back for something.
Handiest, most useful gun I've ever owned. I didn't work too hard making loads which would work in both, but appreciated the commonality of components, dies, moulds, etc.
I never cared for the 357 as a handgun round until I started messing with it as a carbine round. Now, it is my most-used round in both rifle AND revolver. I found my personal perfect round for the combo, but ANY revolver/lever combo is a winner. My current combo-carbine is a Contender, but I keep my eyes open, passively looking for another 92 in 357 too. Just too many things a revolver/lever combo can do.
Funny thing - my choice of 357 carry/field revolver and a 16" Rossi 92 (or my Contender, for that matter) weigh LESS together than many other rifles I've owned in my life. I have a fried who has handguns which seem to weigh MORE than this combo!

...then I probably shouldn't tell you I have one.... ...along with a CCL and an S... Had an FG but just don't like pistol grips on lever guns... And if I need a REALLY REALLY big .41 Lever gun then I break out the Winchester 1895 in .405... Too bad..if I had known you were looking for one, I sold two of them last summer... They brought $2500 and $2700... Have seen many of them go over $3K... Rob...that CCL sounds like it is going to be stunning... Bob

I have typically shied away from pistol cartridges in rifles - If I want packability, I take the sixgun (open sights), if I want a rifle, I bring more horsepower (scoped). (WSM BLR's, Marlin 45-70)
But then... Henry Big Boy X's in 45 Colt and .44 Mag - With a little SilencerCo Octane 45 out on the end, you cannot shoot them without smiling.

Quite some time ago, probably 30 years ago or so, a profile picture of Mr. Taffin shooting a 18-18.5” Marlin 1895, this was before they were a factory offering, prompted me to go see Alex Hamilton at 10Ring Precision and have my 1895 made into such a gun. Still have it and still love it, had a Contender in 4570 as well, but the love affair lasted only a year.

I bought a Henry big boy in 45 colt to match my many revolvers, put a Skinner brass peep on it, and love it, also upgraded the stock to their fancy walnut, looks great, shoots great, now a lever in 41 mag would be awesome
