Now THAT'S a friend. I've a Marlin 44mag to pair with all the 44's here. No 480 lever though. Sigh.

you are a lucky guy... I've been wanting one of those, for as long as I've had my 480 Super Blackhawk... hoping Ruger is listening, & gets with it, with the Marlins "soon" before I do something rash, like build my own...
as far as levers in revolver calibers... I think they are naturals... got a 38 / 357, got a 45 Colt, got a custom 50 A.E. Marlin, to match up with my custom 5 shot 50 A.E. Super Blackhawk... got a custom 45-70 BFR revolver to match up with my Marlin Guide Gun...
... so... ya, I'm all in for a 480

I’ll play, bisley 510 gnr and Marlin 1895 50 AK! You can do those combos as well. I already have the 500LINEBAUGH revolvers and ( converted) 500L 1895 marlin. I shortened it from the original 22” down to a very handy 16.75” I didn’t like the feel of the extended long cylinder of the BFR revolvers, so my 50 Alaskan combo is a marlin 1895 and a 12” Encore pistol. But you can single load 50 Bowen, 510GNR, 500L, 500 MAX, in the Alaskans as well

I'm also not a huge fan of the looong cylinder guns ( I have a 357 Max Dan Wesson & before the BFR, it felt like a big thing clunking into firing position... however the 45-70 doesn't come with any other real option this 45-70 got lots better balancing, when the "extra" barrel length was cut off ( originally a 10" )... it's at Magnum Research getting a Bisley grip frame & black Micarta scales, right now... it'll better match up to the 500 JRH below it in this picture... I like the wood grip better than the black rubber grips that were on it before I started modifying it, but I really prefer the grips on the 500, matching them should make shooting more consistent between the two, & I'm building a chest holster that will fit both... Not sure where to go with the 500 JRH as far as lever guns... maybe buy one of those 500 S&W levers, then after spending all that money, pull the barrel & shorten the chamber to 500 JRH... not there yet, with funds... but I did have Bullberry build me an Encore carbine in 500 JRH, until then

I love a levergun sixgun combo. I have leverguns to match every single action chambering I have except, the one I wanted the most, a .32 H&R or these days, .327. I can't warm up to the Henry in /327. Years ago, before Marlin briefly sold their 94 in .32 H&R, I had a single shot made on a BF Falling block. It has been a fun little rifle. Capable of launching 115's at 2000 fps in "rifle only loads."
These days, my favorite pairing has been a 24" barrel Miroku 92 in .45 Colt. And, believe it or not, a Win 94 in .45 colt. Longer stroke than needed but feeds anything and is accurate! I use this one for Ruger only loads when paired with my "old" Vaquero. 2 digit prefix.

Winchester (Miroku) 1892 44-40 WCF, Henry 327 Federal, Marlin 218 Bee, 25-20, 32-20 and Henry 41 Magnum to compliment revolvers.
I don't have a lever action 480 Ruger, but do have a Ruger #1 in 475 Linebaugh...

It is no secret that I love the 41 guns and I do have a Marlin cowboy in 41 mag but it has been at Ben Forkins' for so long I have forgotten what it looks like! That is okay though, he says the parts should be back from Turnbulls soon then it should be ready to put back together and come home. Shoot, I don't even have a picture of it any more!

I have a blued Rossi 480 Model 92 and a stainless Ruger Bisley in 480. Wish Ruger had built the 480 in blued steel.
I’ve thought about letting the Rossi go with the hope that Ruger might produce a lever gun in 480. Hmmm.
I also have a Miroku 1894 Winchester in 45 Colt, along with a dozen or so Ruger, USFA and Colt single action revolvers in 45 Colt. Had a Rossi M92 in 45 Colt but let it go to a new home.
I need to snap some pictures but I’ve never figured out a good way to photograph rifles and revolvers together.

Winny 92's in 45 Colt to go with all the TLA 45's. John Linebaugh 454 Casull and a Rossi 454. BFR 460 and a Big Horn Armory 460. Taylors Ridge Runner Suppressed 45-70 and a BFR 45-70. I need a TLA in 357 to go with my 357 Marlin though. Just saying!!!

Spanish 92 Tigre to go with my Colt SAA in .44 WCF. The Tigre is a neat little rifle.
