Doesn't look like a Bowen build sheet to me. Also haven't known Hamilton to build a set of grips in 30 years. Will be an interesting one to follow!

This is at a Pawnshop in Gatesville, TX.
I have had it in my hands.
The build sheet has Mr. Bowen’s letterhead at the top.
Besides not being a fan of the porting the thing I remember not liking was a small gap between the bottom of the front sight and the barrel. May have been my imagine but he doesn’t post any close ups of the front sight.
Also, one grip had a small rough spot…may be natural to the horn. Boy, it sure did feel nice to hold though.

...besides not being a "Bisley" lover, I'd cut the end off the barrel off flush with the ERH and put a stainless FA front sight base on it...

I agree and I don't care what's on that piece of paper. That's not one of Hamilton's build sheets. He did do some grips on at least one of my Best grade guns but no others to my knowledge. Doesn't really matter as there's no way I'd buy that revolver...

Bowen didn't let that front sight go out the front door.

Reeder sells a lot of his grip frames with grips already fit, so my assumption is that those are Reeder grips as well and not Bowen.
The grip frame looks like it was undersized to that main frame whenever the two were mated.
Again, not a thing you see out of Bowen's shop but if a customer insisted, who knows?

Laughably bad front sight, totally unfitted grip frame...If that's a Bowen gun, I'll eat one of dougader's hats!

It is funny but as soon as I saw a picture of that gun the thought came immediately that this gun and the name Bowen was in direct conflict. It just didn’t look “right” to me as something that came out of the shop in TN.

Also Seyfried’s #13 had grips by Bowen. I’m with you though, the only thing Bowen had to do with the gun in question is possibly provide the front sight blank😀

Buying a blade from Bowen for the front sight before installation and shaping hardly makes that a Bowen. Bowen wouldn't let that one out of the shop under any circumstances.
Buy the gun not the story. AND DONT BUY THIS GUN...
