Got a couple nice ones from CCG a few days ago. Now to find time to shoot them... First gun is one I've been after for a long time. OM .44 flat top converted to a long cylinder .45 Colt by using a .357 max cylinder. Custom 5 1/2" octagonal barrel as well as David's inimitable bisley hammer/trigger combo. A full length ERH is included. The smooth stag grips were made long ago by Roy Fishpaw. I bought the grips AND the matching grip frame on E-bay several years back. Why someone would want to remove that combo from their gun is beyond me but hey...I put it to good use. Nitre blued pins with nice straw complete the main details... I don't think I've eve felt such a tight OM gun. I'm talking FA tight. The best octagons! My favorite sight configuration. Easy (ier) on old eyes. I have these on almost all the builds I have done. Next is another that I've been wanting to do. It's a 4" .45AR/ACP/Colt built on an OM .357 flat top. Once again with Davids hammers and his custom wide smooth trigger with wonderful coloring by Turnbull and nitre blue screws by David. This is a super handy and light revolver. Amazingly so...and it points well too. Of course the same sight set up. David installed one of his rear cylinder bushings you've heard about some recently on the .45AR/ACP cylinder as he said the frame stretched during the coloring. David always gets them right. I kinda like the black grips on it. Kinda' retro. Well the gun is old.I'm thinking if I can find some Ruger factory stags without selling a kidney they might be nice. Until then these will do.

Love the old model bisley! The only OM full bisley I have left is my Quest gun by David which is also on a flat top 44 frame.

The OM Bisley is absolutely beautiful and spot-on right down to the caliber. Congrats on another perfectly executed custom.

BOTH OUTSTANDING REVOLVERS, BUT THE OCTAGON 45 COLT IS PRETTY SPECIAL.
