Great prior planning and wonderful shooting! Isn't it nice when you get something that is how you want it and it shoots great? I love that feeling.

Since I will limit hunting range to 50 yards with this gun I would have been ok with 1.5" groups but I am a bit of a fanatic over accuracy so I am very happy with the way it turned out.

Looks like a score in every way. I've got a TC Contender Barrel in 45 ACP I load warm. Always seat bullets long to keep things easy.
Looks like an awesome revolver to me...

We are going to stick this on a 500 Linebaugh and a .454 to see how it manages the extra recoil. Should be very interesting. [br Did you mount it on something else? Wondering how the dealer does with lots of recoil. Thanks

I shot it this weekend with the other cylinder and some 45 Colt loads that make 1250ftlbs with the 360gr Oregon trail bullet. This grip frame works perfect with my hands and stiffer recoil. Because of the light weight of this gun recoil is pretty stiff. About the same felt recoil as a .475 BFR because of the weight of the BFR. It is very controllable.
Now the beauty of this gun-POA with the 360grs from the 45 Colt Ruger level loads is exactly the same as the 240grs from the .460 Rowland. I can finally order my front sight. I would have never believed it. Love this gun more every time I shoot it. Now to order more of the 360grs.

Fellers one thing is for sure. You can't shoot this gun and not smile. I have a lot of good shooting wheel guns but this one is as easy to shoot well as any revolver that I have ever seen. It will make you look good.

To conserve resources right now, instead of shooting 45 Colt ammunition, I am souping up a non-fluted stainless 45 ACP Blackhawk using cast 250 grain bullets. Since Fermin did such a good job of opening up the throats, I can load very long. No chance in Hades of someone loading that in any other weapon. I even get to use up my small primer 45 ACP brass as well! I did buy a Blackhawk that had a 45 Win Mag cylinder with it if I really wanted to change things up but I am really enjoying this stainless revolver right now.

Just got done picking Roy’s brain! We swapped notes, talked about Ronnie behind his back, and generally had a big time. Stay tuned!! We have some doin’s we will bring to light as time permits!
The question is, what impact will one of RW Gripframes ALUMINUM 4 degree Gripframes have on a sixgun with more than average recoil characteristics??

Slick looking gun. The Dealer is a fantastic design. It feels great and proportionately fits the Blackhawk in terms of size. I prefer the inner curve of the XR3-RED, so Ronnie added that to the Dealer to create the Martin XR-Hybrid. Both the Martin and Dealer do wonders on the recoil front. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

It is amazing what he is doing with grip frames, He seems to be able to come up with things to fit everyone. One thing I really like is having the option of using different trigger guards with the grip frames. In my case using the Blackhawk trigger guard instead of the Bisley style in conjunction with a SBH hammer is a match made in Heaven. I am already thinking about another project so I will give the Martin XR-Hybrid a look.
