Hey Guys.
We are really excited around here at RWGF on these hammers and triggers. Im finally getting somewhere with it.
We are installing a new Wire EDM on site ( actually 2) so that im not going back and forth between shops to get these done.
The problem That we have been having here has been due lately to a decline in the energy industry. As you all know Houston is all about oil and gas, or energy and we have literally been starving to death here.
I have been in cahoots with a dear friend with the Wire EDM machine and he is just slammed with work finally after a horrible drought in Income over the last two years.
I am having a hard time getting my time on the machine to do my projects so we came to a buyout agreement and i just purchased two Machines and are currently setting one of them up just for triggers and hammers.
Im confident we now have the Geometry correct and have some really good test pieces working just fine. This has been a journey Man but we are almost there.
The second machine will aid in the production of steel and stainless Gripframes as well as Ejector rod housings and Bearcat trigger guards. I have a whole slew of ideas and have the bugs worked out in my head so onward to hammer and trigger completion. Get em flowing and on the shelf then tackle some of the other craziness floating around in my head. I want to eventually get cylinders available but we need to standardize on some sizes.
The hand or Pawl arm on 5 shots is different than the six and i would like to be able to send that along with a five shot cylinder.
Its been slow going but im seeing the progress on this project ramping up and you all that anteed up and placed an order early on will be well taken care of.
Thanks for your patience guys, i think this is going to be great.
For those of you who are familiar with setting up a new CNC machine like this, Well you know. I think its easier climbing Mt Everest naked with a 50 pound anchor tied to you feet in a snow storm.
Ive never tried that but it sounds hard. Hahaha. and i hate winter.
So with a little update action done for all of you, its sunday morning, im going to go out and clean up the space in the shop where this first machine is going to call home and move her in there.
Should get her wired up tomorrow or Tuesday and start putting it together. Cant wait to start cuttin.

PS: Showing Dave the process for all of this was a blast, but having his reaction described in one word once he saw what all was involved was priceless.
That word Was, HOLY MOLE.
I know thats actually two words but you get the picture.
Also a Big shout out to Bobby Tyler and a major shout out to one awsome STUD, Fermin ( 2 dogs) Garza.
He has been instrumental with his time and labor for this project.
