Deer in his sights but the hammer isn't cocked. That's the only thing I see wrong. Lol.

I see a photo of mine poached from somewhere.....
That’s a “Kill Light” and a photo from a hog hunt in North Carolina. Just waiting for the sun to set.

I linked to it off some site, can't remember which one. At any rate, now I know. It's a Night Hunt, Kill Light Widget. Since I've never hunted anywhere in life where it's legal to use artificial light to hunt, the concept is foreign to me.

Since I've never hunted anywhere in life where it's legal to use artificial light to hunt, the concept is foreign to me. In many places infested with wild hogs, the heat of the day drives them to a nocturnal existence. So in some states like North Carolina and Texas, you can hunt them at night. In many cases it’s the only way you will ever see them and kill them.

And it’s a bit more pleasant being out there when the SUN isn’t!!!
Years ago, before the advent of good NVD we used to sit on a feeder area in a tripod with a rheostat controlled red light attached to the feeder, and when we heard feeding pigs, we slowly turn up the light.

Check out some youtube videos of 300BLK vs feral pigs. Hard for me to believe how many they whack with 95g Varmageddons...and they drop like proverbial sacks of ****. Some guy uses night vision and a can. Brutal.

I’ll be NVDing some later this week, with AR’s and Revo’s with any luck.
