What's wrong is, if that's his shooting hand, the light should be on the other side.

I never put the light on the right side as I don’t want to have to manipulate it with my shooting hand. I’ve killed dozens of hogs at night with this or a similar setup.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.. Wax them piggies ! Do they sell BBQ sauce in 55 gallon drums ? We're gonna need a bigger shopping cart.

Down here NVD and thermals on suppressed AR's are the best if one is doing more eradicating hogs than hunting. I run PVS-14 night visions and ATN ThOR sights on my ARs for hogs.

I wouldn't be able top deal with it blocking my line of sight in my other eye. Plus on the other side I'd still be able to carry it in a race holster without it bumping my leg.

I see a photo of mine poached from somewhere..... That’s a “Kill Light” and a photo from a hog hunt in North Carolina. Just waiting for the sun to set. 1. Did it work? 2. Have name of light/product/mount? 3. I have a corn feeder 65 yards from a tower blind for my step daughter to shoot deer. I have at least 150 hogs a night hit the feeder. I could use something like this before deer season to move the hogs out. Anyone with hog problems knows they cant be killed out. Thanks, Colby

It’s actually called the “Kill Light,” by Elusive Wildlife. The mount also came from them. I’ve used a similar setup to that one successfully on dozens of hogs.

NV is the only way to go for hogs where I live. It ain’t the heat though, at least not temp wise. Hogs in Texas are prolific and they all have bullseyes painted on them. They are forced nocturnal because we shoot the hell out of them. I can’t speculate how many my buddy and I have killed in the last ten years and we haven’t made a dent in them. If I’m deer hunting and a hog shows, I’m killing him if I can. The guys that live where open fields are common kill many more than we do though. It’s not uncommon for three guys to kill ten or fifteen a night. That’s sniping with suppressed ARs and thermal scopes. My NV is more primitive, good to only about 200 yards on a half moon or better. Then there’s the helicopter hunting, but that’s another story........

I linked to it off some site, can't remember which one. At any rate, now I know. It's a Night Hunt, Kill Light Widget. Since I've never hunted anywhere in life where it's legal to use artificial light to hunt, the concept is foreign to me. You can use a light in AK with a trapping license, in most of the units that don't have deer. Can't use them for game just the fur bearers.

I have come close to getting a Moonlight Bull though. The rascal just would take that extra step out from behind the tree. I did have a partner that shot a moonlight bull years ago. That was a hoot! The night I couldn't get the shot. I did get him the next evening though, albeit by sunlight not moonlight...

"Porcine death ray"...baconator... My mistake. Must be a deer bush I’m seeing. It'll kill deer too...just have to turn the power down so as not to splatter them...
